Ingredients
- 200 g
unsalted butter
- 100 g
caster sugar
- 200 g
soft light brown sugar
- 3
large eggs
- 250 g
plain flour
- 1/2 tsp.
baking powder
- 150 g
white chocolate, chopped
3 large or 6 mini bars of Twix, 1/2 roughly chopped
- 1 tsp.
flaky sea salt
Directions
- Step 1Preheat over to 180ºC (160ºC fan). Grease and line a 20cm square loose-bottomed baking tin.
- Step 2 In a pan set over low heat, melt the butter. Take off the heat and transfer to a bigger bowl. Add both the sugars and beat together until fully combined.
- Step 3One by one add the eggs mixing well after each edition. Add the flour and baking powder and gently mix through until combined.
- Step 4Add the white chocolate and half the Twix bars (mix of chopped and whole) and combine.
- Step 5Pour into the prepared tin levelling out the top. Add the remaining Twix bars dotted on top.
- Step 6Bake for 30-35 mins until golden and just set but still with a little wobble.
- Step 7Leave to cool in the tins before taking out sprinkling with sea salt. Cut into 9 squares and enjoy.
