Ingredients
- 25 g
unsalted butter
- 125 g
pudding rice
- 900 ml
whole milk
- 300 ml
double cream
- 35 g
caster sugar
- 1 tsp.
vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp.
ground cinnamon
Directions
- Step 1Rub the butter around the bowl of the slow cooker then add all ingredients and stir to combine.
- Step 2Cook on high for 3½ hours, stirring every 30 mins, until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender and creamy.
- Step 3Serve either with a dollop of strawberry jam, chopped dried fruit, a drizzle of honey and chopped nuts, or a grating of nutmeg.
