Lemon drizzle margaritas
The zestiest marg around

We've taken a classic bake, the lemon drizzle cake, and transformed it into a cocktail. The usual margarita ingredients meet added elderflower cordial and some lemon wedges for a sweet, summery and super British take on the Mexican classic cocktail. We can almost guarantee you'll be making these over and over and over again this summer.

Ingredients
- 2
lemon wedges
- 50 g
sugar, for the rim
- 120 ml
tequila
- 60 ml
triple sec
- 45 ml
lime juice
- 45 ml
elderflower cordial
Directions
- Step 1Place sugar on a small shallow plate. Rim two glasses with lemon wedge, then dip in sugar to coat the rim.
- Step 2Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add tequila, triple sec, lemon juice and elderflower cordial and shake for 15 seconds.
- Step 3Fill glasses with ice and divide the margarita mix. Garnish with lemon wedges and serve.
