Disney World Just Created Its Most Extreme Burger Ever

For sports superfans, Disney World's ESPN Club in Disney's BoardWalk isn't just a sports bar — it's their version of Fantasyland. The space is tricked out with 100 TVs (they're even above the stalls in the bathrooms), 22 satellite feeds, 344 seats, 130 jerseys, and 150 other pieces of memorabilia. And recently, the restaurant's new chef added another impressive stat: a brand-new burger menu, with six mouthwatering choices.

ESPN Club's burgers have always been the menu's MVPs. "The restaurant opened with just a cheeseburger," says chef Paul Napoli, "and when that became a bestseller, we started trying to wow guests with more."

That's how today's choices came to include the PB & J Burger (the beef patty is topped with smoked bacon, peanut butter, and jalapeño jam), the Caprese Burger (it's garnished with all the salad components — mozzarella, tomatoes, basil) and the Cuban Burger (there's ham, Swiss, and pickle chips on it).

But the latest creation is the Smokehouse. It's a true smoke show — we're talking aioli oozing down the bun and thick strips of bacon peeking out from the sides. Plus, nearly everything sandwiched between the onion buns is actually smoky, including the 7-ounce grilled Angus beef patty, smoked Tillamook cheese, chipotle aioli (chipotle peppers are just smoked jalapeños, FYI), onion straws, and smoked bacon.

It's the kind of drip-down-your-chin burger that you'd prefer to eat in private rather than surrounded by a restaurant full of hungry strangers. But you probably don't have too much cause for concern: Chances are, everyone's watching the game.
