Around the same time in October when Drake released the video for his single "Hotline Bling," the rapper also opened the doors to a new restaurant in his hometown of Toronto. The restaurant, Fring, is a partnership between Drake and celebrity chef Susur Lee, who also calls Toronto home.

The menu features several dishes with Asian influences, a hallmark of Lee's restaurants. The interior meanwhile, is highly stylized and includes several unique flourishes including vintage reupholstered school chairs from the 1940s and a marble fireplace. Here's what you need to know:

1

It boasts a brick exterior and retro neon signage.

The locale is situated on Toronto's King Street, in an area known as the Fashion District.

2

The ultra-modern interior is bright and bold.

The space is designed by Susur Lee's wife Brenda Bent and her partner Karen Gable, according to House & Home magazine. "We were clothing designers first, so fabrics, textures and colors have been a part of everything we do," Gable said.

An eclectic dining room is extremely well lit.

The lounge features red-fringe pendant lamps, House & Home points out, as well as large-scale oval chandeliers—plus under-bar spotlights, some with a moody blue tinge.

Yet the place settings are totally subdued and minimal.

Simple white china and napkins are paired with stemless wine glasses atop dark wood two-top tables. The chairs are reupholstered school chairs from the 1940s.

Virtually every dish (and drink!) is ready for its close up.

The menu features some Asian flair, but it also includes a variety of dishes, including spicy rigatoni with pancetta and Parmesan, southern spicy maple fried chicken and mom's homemade sweet and sour meatballs. And the presentation is on point.

There's a not-so-secret bonus game room in the back.

As Drake plays a game of ping pong—on a futuristic, blue-lit table with a yellow fiberglass "net"—the restaurant's marble fireplace glows in the background.
