Lee Zalben, creator and owner of Peanut Butter & Co, had a dream of a peanut butter shop since his late-night studying in college, but it wasn't until years later when he opened the doors in Greenwich Village. He also offers 10 different flavors of peanut butter, and all are free from hydrogenated oils, cholesterol and trans-fats.

Johnny Casserole began as a family-size delivery service, then grew into a food truck, and is now a sit-down restaurant—Johnny C's—in Chicago. On the menu, you'll always find Chicken Pot Pie, Shepherd's Pie and Mac & Cheese are always on the menu, but you'll see new casseroles based on the season or holiday.

They started out as a tent and griddle next to the ice-skating rink on Cincinnati's Fountain Square in late 2009. Nearly a year later, Tom + Chee opened its first real restaurant and has been packed every day since. Classic grilled cheeses and some surprising ones like the Grilled Cheese Donut, are over-the-top.
