Ok, not really — but they weren't adults yet. At 17, the two went on a double date to the movies, and on the drive over, Jamie crashed the car carrying everyone. "She felt sorry for me. She thought, 'The way he drives, he needs support in life'," the chef joked on the Chatty Man show.

Jools worked in Tokyo for three months when she and Jamie first started dating. Every single day, Jamie sent me a letter or a fax without fail!" she captioned an Instagram picture showing a stack of some of the notes she'd kept.

It took place at All Saints Church in Essex and had all the makings of a fairytale event. Women wore fascinators, Jools was wrapped in silk, and guests threw flower petals at the newlyweds as they left the ceremony.

After their youngest was born in 2016, a reporter from The Telegraph asked Jamie if his family was complete. "I think so, yes. I think at 42 you're pushing your luck. I haven't got any more room in the car, so we'd have to buy a bus," he joked. "But Jools would love me to say 'never say never.' She'd tell me not to rule it out."

"It’s always been the same way. Jools rarely cooks for me," Jamie told Hello! Online. He calls cooking for someone one of the most romantic things you can do. Jools loves a full English roast, and she's got a major sweet tooth for chocolate.
