It's true: I tried over 15 fluffy, buttery pancakes from IHOP. And then, just when I thought that wasn't enough, I tried 15 more of the chain's most popular menu items. Some may call it bravery, others may call it torture. I call it my destiny. Wanna know what I liked best? Great, I was going to tell you anyway...

Pancakes: Original Full Stack Buttermilk + New York Cheesecake

Of course the International House of Pancakes knows how to make a classic buttermilk stack—but I didn't expect it to be my favorite. Sometimes less is more; the original stack has a hint of salt with a golden crunchy top to contrast all the fluffiness happening underneath. If you want to try a new flavor, the New York Cheesecake pancake is where it's at—it's stuffed with mini cheesecake bites and topped with glazed strawberries. It's like dessert for breakfast in the best of ways.

Honorable mention: Belgian chocolate mousse pancakes

Sweet Crepes: Sweet Cream Cheese Crepes with Raspberries

There's a bunch of sugar and sweetness happening when you order the crepes at IHOP, so to cut out that mountain of sugar, I recommend choosing the raspberry filling over the peaches so you get some tart action.

Savory Crepes: Chicken Florentine

Grilled chicken. Mushrooms. Onions. Spinach. Swiss cheese. I fell for this crepe HARD. You'll be thinking about the white cheddar sauce from this crepe for days. Let it be known that this was the only menu item I took three bites of.
