Imagine getting $100 and having the option to spend it on whatever you want at your favorite fast food chain. That's exactly what Delish editor, Khidr, had the privilege of doing (we are dedicated journalists over here) at Arby's—and (GASP) his favorite menu items weren't the most expensive.

Best Menu Items For Your Money

Signature Sandwiches: Reuben $5.99

Dish, Food, Cuisine, Ingredient, Baked goods, Bacon sandwich, Sandwich, Sliced bread, Bologna sandwich, Produce, pinterest
Alex Rapine

That glorious marbled—or if you're Khidr, swirled—rye bread is worth every single penny. The bread is soft, the sauerkraut gives the perfect crunch, and the corned beef is beyond flavorful. Just order it, mk?

Sandwiches and Gyros: Buttermilk Buffalo Chicken Sandwich $5.49

Dish, Food, Cuisine, Hamburger, Fast food, Ingredient, Junk food, Veggie burger, Original chicken sandwich, Bun, pinterest
Alex Rapine

This is for spicy lovers only. The moment Khidr tried this bad boy, it's like the rest of the sandwiches in this round didn't even matter. The parmesan peppercorn ranch sauce combined with the buffalo sauce is perfectly creamy yet spicy.

Sliders: Buffalo Chicken Sliders $1.00

Dish, Food, Cuisine, Ingredient, Breakfast sandwich, Produce, Fast food, Slider, Baked goods, Breakfast roll, pinterest
Alex Rapine

We are nothing if not consistent here, people! How many sandwiches offer you spiciness and coolness from the sauce at the same time? (This is a rhetorical question.)

Sides: Curly Fries $1.00 (with the Spicy 3 Pepper Sauce)

Dish, Food, Cuisine, Fried food, Onion ring, Ingredient, Side dish, Deep frying, Sel roti, Junk food, pinterest
Alex Rapine

You could spend $3.39 on the jalapeño bites or mozzarella sticks, but why not save over $2 and get what your heart truly desires: the signature curly fries. There's a reason they're a classic. Don't you dare sleep on these.

Desserts: Salted Caramel & Chocolate Cookie $1.00

Dish, Food, Cuisine, Oatmeal-raisin cookies, Cookies and crackers, Snack, Ingredient, Cookie dough, Peanut butter cookie, Cookie, pinterest
Alex Rapine

The cheapest dessert was also Khidr's favorite, proving yet again, you don't need to spend more for the best food. The Ghirardelli chocolate baked into the soft, warm cookie, swirled with salted caramel is a dessert-lover's dream come true.
