Longtime besties Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay have been Instagramming (and eating!) their way through Italy. And while it may seem like fun and games, the pair is reportedly filming a secret project together.
De Laurentiis and Flay's Italian adventure looks to have kicked off last week with coinciding 'grams. "There’s no place like ROME ❤️," Giada captioned the shot, where she was photographed (quite literally) jumping for joy in her home country. If you didn't already know, the Italian chef is actually from Italy. Our girl's legit. She was born in Rome and moved to the states when she was seven years old.
Flay shared his own photo too, writing, "#wheninrome ... chinotto and porchetta..." And in case there was any doubt the two were together, De Laurentiis commented on Flay's post with "No photo credit????" Naturally, he resolved this issue by editing his caption to include, "moment caught by @giadadelaurentiis."
While we still know very little about what they're working on, the pair has been sharing plenty of hints along the way. They've stopped by the Pizazza Navona, Campo de' Fiori, the Spanish Steps, and more. Giada even shared a shot of Bobby's Italian driver's license, calling her pal "Italian 007."
Though it looks like we'll be waiting for more deets, Bobby *did* just kick off a new Food Network series with his daughter Sophie. The Flay List, which follows the father-daughter pair as they eat their way through New York City, premiered in April.
