A $690 million price tag is one of those staggering numbers that, unless you're Oprah or a contractor with a massive budget, you can't quite put your finger on. What does nearly three-quarters of a billion dollars in renovations do to a Las Vegas casino and resort (that once housed a Real World cast, I might add)?

It adds a multi-million dollar sound system to a theater that'll feature residencies by Billy Idol and Lady Antebellum. It creates suites with half-size basketball courts, full-size private pools overlooking the Strip, actual bowling lanes, and 98" movie theater screens. It builds a 100,000-square-foot day/nightclub set to host artists like Cardi B, Skrillex, and G-Eazy. And it brings in 15 gorgeous new restaurants and bars with insanely great menus from notable chefs like Bobby Flay, Michael Symon, and Marc Vetri. In short, it's a total and complete makeover.

We went to visit many of those restaurants during Palms Casino Resort's Grand Re-Opening celebrations and the food did not disappoint—I'm still dreaming about the gnudi (gnocchi-like dumplings made from ricotta) from Vetri Cucina's apertivo hour menu. From barbecue to a steakhouse to Italian food with a sky-high view, visitors will have no shortage of food to try in between concerts, pool time, and trips to the casino. Watch the video above for a tour of five of our favorite spots!
