Love Game of Thrones? Love snacks? Love to eat snacks while watching Game of Thrones? Great! Let me tell you the story of how this 1,000-plus pretzel tribute to the iconic show came together.

Food stylist extraordinaire Michelle Gatton hunkered down in fellow artist Sam Kaplan's studio with 14 variations of pretzels over the course of 12 hours to make the pretzel Iron Throne come together. Rather than work with a product she knew couldn't withstand the intricacies and structural integrity of an actual throne, she went with Snyder's pretzels as they'd hold up to superglue and came in enough forms that the finished product would look, well, like the throne itself.

The base, the axes, the seating—all of it is composed of pretzel rods, pretzel sticks, Dipping Sticks, Itty Bitty pretzels, Minis Pretzel Rings, pretzel Thins, pretzel Snaps, Butter Snap pretzels, Sourdough Nibblers pretzels, Olde Thyme pretzels, Sourdough Hard pretzels, Braided Twists Honey Wheat pretzels, and Braided Twists Ancient Grain pretzels.

The result? A throne worthy of the saltiest victorious individual. Only time will tell who that might be.

(...But, like, it's certainly not me. I mean, I am salty, but I tried to sit on it and almost ruined everything, so. I am not meant to be the leader Seven Kingdoms, I guess.)
