I honestly can't tell you that last time I ordered waffles at a restaurant. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan, but they never scream out to me at brunch and I don't particularly consider them the choice for dessert. That said, I feel comfortable declaring that waffles don't get the credit they deserve, and it's partially my own fault.
HOWEVER: There's one waffle so decadent, it deserved my full and undivided attention. The "Peanut Butter Dream" waffle tower at Clinton Hall in New York City is a dream, especially if you love Reese's. It's two chocolate waffles filled with banana ice cream, Reese's Pieces, Reese's cups, and chocolate sauce. If that weren't enough, it's topped with an ENTIRE slice of peanut butter chocolate cake.
Clinton Hall is known for its over-the-top waffle towers. There's something for everyone—chocolate lovers, birthday cake lovers, even bacon lovers. So whether you're on the fence about waffles or you're obsessed with them, make your way to one of the restaurant's three locations and order a stack ASAP.
