Not only did Variety confirm the extremely important news that Shaquille O'Neal is opening a chicken restaurant, but they also let the world know he'll be chronicling the whole thing on Facebook. Per the site, Big Chicken Shaq will air on Facebook Watch as the legend himself is working on getting the restaurant (which will be called Big Chicken, BTW) off the ground.
During the eight episodes, fans will reportedly be able to interact with Shaq and offer up their opinions as he works through his creative chicken process.
“It’s going to be so much fun designing my own restaurant, and I can’t imagine a better group of people to do it with than with my incredibly loyal Facebook fans,” he said in a statement. “It’s an opportunity for us to collaborate together, and I know the Facebook community will offer terrific feedback.”
Though we don't know much about Big Chicken just yet, Eater reports it'll be in a huge 2,800-square foot location off the Las Vegas strip. It's slated to open in October, which means the show will likely air sometime in the fall. No one's confirmed anything menu-wise, but there'll probably be, like, lots of chicken.
Because, you know, Big Chicken. And Big Chicken Shaq.
