This lightweight pan has a thick handle that makes it very easy to maneuver. It heats quickly and evenly, and cooked both fried and scrambled eggs, with no oil or butter, that didn't stick. Both slid off the smooth surface without leaving residue behind. While it's not as heavy duty as some other pans we tested, and can only handle oven temps up to 320ºF, it proved to be perfect for eggs and rushed mornings. It comes in a variety of sizes based on your needs.

Eggs slid right off this pan when we cooked them with no grease. It's lightweight and heated quickly, turning out eggs that practically released themselves from the skillet's diamond-patterned cooking surface. The Ayesha Home Collection pan features a stainless steel handle that's designed to withstand high heat. The impressively versatile pan can be used in the oven in temperatures up to 500ºF, making it a great option for dishes like shakshuka that are cooked at 400ºF. In our test, it also browned a steak very well, making it very versatile.

Say hello to the easiest fried eggs you've ever made while using this pan — it's equipped to nail over-easy eggs as well as frizzled eggs, too. Its cooking surface is amongst the most balanced on the bunch, as fried eggs rarely spread or sloped around on our stovetops. This pan also earned top marks for even heat distribution, something that's key when hard frying eggs (no one likes inedible edges, after all!). It can be hand-washed or tossed into the dishwasher with ease thanks to its durable exterior coating, which is also oven-safe up to 500ºF.

Advanced home cooks may be able to poach eggs without the help of these silicone cups — but poached egg newbies will find them dead useful. The custom pan inserts on this top-selling Amazon hybrid pan ensure perfectly cooked poached eggs, as the lid ensures steam also reaches the tops of each egg. By simply putting water in the base of the pan, you don't have to worry about swirling or straining raw eggs (let steam do the heavy lifting for you!). Afterwards, you'll spoon them out onto a plate of your choice and toss the individual cups into a dishwasher.

Best Egg Pan for Single Cooks

If you're cooking for yourself, having one of these handy miniature egg pans will change your breakfast routine for the better. A scaled-down version of Gotham Steel's best-selling 10" pan, this 5" model can quickly fry a single egg (or two if you're careful!) in just a few minutes. The pan's nonstick coating allows you to skip butter or oil if you're in a hurry, as this design feature easily allows fried eggs to glide directly onto a plate (or a breakfast sandwich!). Since the pan is smaller than most burners, you'll find that it heats very quickly, but the heat distribution is even for all parts of your egg; there's a silicone grip that won't attract heat on its own, making handling on the stovetop (and in the sink!) very easy.

One of the heftiest products on this list, this pan is a must-have (or gift!) for those who love a good omelet any time of day. The patented high-rise lip on this pan makes flipping omelets super easy, and it also comes in handy for egg scrambles (as well as many other breakfast classics!). While our nonstick tests revealed that eggs easily slid away from this pan, it required a good scrubbing at cleanup. The hard-anodized aluminum base distributes heat evenly and can stand up for the dry, hot heat of the oven too — up to 500ºF.
