All The Jewels The Royals Wore To King Charles III's Coronation

Fine jewels are synonymous with royalty, so it's not surprise the British royal family—and other royals from around the world—went all out with their jewelry to attend King Charles III's coronation this morning.
From Princess Kate's meaningful necklace and earrings to Princess Charlotte's mini headpiece and Princess Eugenie's glittering diamonds, see all the special jewels the royals wore to the May 6 ceremony at Westminster Abbey.
Catherine, Princess of Wales
Princess Kate pays tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana with her accessories. She wears the George VI Festoon Necklace, which was made in 1950 at the request of King George VI for his daughter, the then-Princess Elizabeth; and pearl-and-diamond earrings which once belonged to Diana, the former Princess of Wales.
The princess' hair is styled in an elegant updo and she does not wear a tiara, as was previously expected; instead, she wears a Jess Collett x Alexander McQueen headpiece with silver bullion, crystal, and a silver threaded three-dimensional leaf embroidery.
She wears the jewels with an Alexander McQueen dress in ivory silk crepe with silver bullion and embroidery featuring rose, thistle, daffodil, and shamrock motifs. Over it, she wears a blue formal robe, at the monarch's request.
Princess Charlotte
The little princess, 8, mirrors her mom's elegant ensemble. She wears a little ivory Alexander McQueen dress with white ballet flats and a glittering floral headpiece by Jess Collett x Alexander McQueen to match her mom's.
Princess Eugenie
Eugenie pairs her elegant navy dress and matching round hat with the Albemarle diamond collar necklace and diamond drop earrings from Garrard.
Princess Beatrice
The royal wears hoop earrings featuring pink sapphire, rubellite, and pink opal, by Garrard, with her hot pink dress.
Camilla, Queen Consort
Camilla wears the iconic Coronation Necklace, which dates back to 1858. Originally designed by Garrard for Queen Victoria, the piece has since been worn by every queen for every coronation, most recently by the late Queen Elizabeth II, when she was crowned in 1953.
She also wears Queen Mary's Crown, made by Garrard for Queen Mary, who was also a Queen Consort and was coronated alongside King George V in 1911.
Camilla additionally wears Queen Adelaide’s coronation rings, made in 1831 for Queen Adelaide, wife of William IV. One of the rings, placed on the fourth finger of the monarch, represents that the sovereign is "wedded" to the people. The piece was worn by Mary of Moderna for her coronation as Queen Consort in 1685, and was used again in The Queen Mother’s coronation.
King Charles III
The monarch wears St Edward's Crown, which has traditionally been used as the coronation crown since the 17th century (Queen Elizabeth II was crowned with this very headpiece during her 1953 coronation).
The headpiece was made for King Charles II in 1661 and was intended as a replacement for the original medieval crown, which was melted in 1649. The Royal Collection Trust notes that the original is thought to be dated back to the eleventh-century royal saint, Edward the Confessor, who was the last Anglo-Saxon king of England.
St Edward's Crown was commissioned from the crown jeweler, Robert Vyner, in 1661. Vyner did not perfectly replicate the original headpiece, though he imitated the original design by including four crosses-pattée, four fleurs-de-lis, and two arches. The crown additionally includes a deep purple velvet cap, an ermine band, an orb and cross topper, a solid gold frame, and plenty of gems such as rubies, amethysts, sapphires, garnet, topazes, and tourmalines.
Queen Letizia, of Spain
The Spanish queen wears large diamond earrings with her bubblegum-pink ensemble by Carolina Herrera.
King Vajiralongkorn and Queen Suthida of Thailand
The queen wears a large diamond-and-sapphire necklace and matching drop earrings with her shimmering blue-and-gray ensemble. Her yellow sash is also adorned with jewels and she wears a diamond brooch and carries a black box bag.
Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani of Qatar
The Sheikha wears diamond chandelier earrings and large diamond rings with a silver dress with embroidery and a cream cape.
Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark
The Crown Princess in drop earrings made of white diamonds and a teal stone, plus a matching brooch. She pairs the jewelry with a deep purple wrap dress, fascinator, and heels.
Pippa Middleton
Princess Kate's younger sister may not be a royal, but she looks lovely in dainty gold jewelry: a circular necklace and matching stud earrings.
