Sam's Club has answered a customer demand and made a major change to its locations. According to a spokesperson for the company, the cafe hours sparked complaints among shoppers through the years. Now, the warehouse club is listening to their members and extending the hours of the in-store cafes.

Previously, Sam's Club Cafe locations closed an hour before the store closed. That means if you were making a last-minute trip and were hoping to pick up a piece of pizza or a pretzel on your way out, you were out of luck.

Now, the cafes will close at the same time that the stores close. On Monday through Saturday, both the stores and the cafes will be open from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. On Sunday, locations will be open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

This news follows the April announcement that the gas station hours at Sam's Club locations were being extended. Gas stations now open at 6 a.m. and their closing time has been extended by an hour.

In another change that members will be sure to love, the Member’s Mark Café Pizza is now available for curbside pickup.

Not everyone is enthusiastic about the change in cafe hours. Sam's Club employees on Reddit have expressed concern over the new schedule. One commenter wrote, "We usually close at 7pm through the week and 6pm on Sundays. Today we were informed that we will now be closing at 8, but still clocking out at 9. So the hr and a half sometimes almost 2 hrs of cleaning and closing has to be done in less than an hr now."

*Country Living reached out to Sam's Club about this matter, and they declined to comment.
