Timothée Chalamet has been doing what can only be described as Bob Dylan cosplay throughout the A Complete Unknown press tour, but he saved his best look yet for the 2025 Academy Awards.
The artist formerly known as Lil Timmy Tim showed up on the Oscars red carpet wearing a butter-yellow suit complete with a matching shirt. A bold but correct choice.
Timothée is nominated for Best Actor tonight, and the category is pretty competitive. Fellow nominees include Adrian Brody, for The Brutalist, Colman Domingo for Sing Sing, Ralph Fiennes for Conclave, and Sebastian Stan for The Apprentice. It’s anyone’s game, but for what it’s worth, Timothée just won the SAG Award last weekend!
Either way, he is just happy to be nominated, mmmkay, and released a statement saying, “I am enormously honored by this distinction. But most sincerely, I am OVERJOYED for the production’s recognition today! I am so grateful for Monica Barbaro and Edward Norton’s dedication to bring the folk icons Pete Seeger and Joan Baez to life.
