Ben Affleck is letting loose in his latest commercial appearance and we can't get enough of it.
Fans are used to seeing the Gone Girl actor in stoic, more serious roles, but Ben is switching things up in the latest batch of Dunkin' commercials. The star has been a recurring figure in Dunkin' ads and has given us some seriously hilarious moments (throwback to his 2023 commercial where he surprised fans in the coffee shop drive-thru!). We're starting to think that he should add "Dunkin' Employee" to his resume, right above Batman.
This year, though, Ben is joined by another Massachusetts mainstay and "brutally honest best friend"—Donnie Wahlberg. Yep, as in New Kids on the Block member and Blue Bloods star.
In the clip, Ben performs....an interesting dance to highlight Dunkin's breakfast deal for $6. After watching the spectacle, Donnie immediately tells Ben, "Don't do that again." Later, Ben jokes, "Think I got a future, though?" to which Donnie responds, "I just saved your future."
Fans immediately flooded the comments of the hilarious clip saying things like, "We all need a friend like Donnie," "The best part about this is that you can tell it's unscripted!" and "I love seeing this side of Ben." "The beauty in these commercials is how much fun these guys are having. You can see Ben enjoying the ridiculousness of it all, and we get it," wrote another person.
Because Dunkin' originated in Massachusetts, the coffee company really committed to the home-state pride by casting Ben Affleck and Donnie Wahlberg, but they certainly didn't stop there. As a follow-up to the actors' skit, Dunkin' went on to post this amusing video featuring Succession actor Jeremy Strong as Paul Revere.
Let's just say—he really got into character. Another year of iconic Dunkin' commercials? Check! Keep it up, Ben!
