Is there another change coming to Wheel of Fortune this year? Some fans seem to think so after seeing a new Instagram post.
On January 4, Maggie Sajak (Pat's daughter!) posted an Instagram video with Vanna White. In the short snippet, fans can see Maggie and Vanna participating in the Barbie social media trend of saying, "Hi Barbie!" to each other.
"Just a couple of Barbie girls living in a @wheeloffortune world," she captioned the clip. "Loving the Barbie vibes of @officialvannawhite’s dress tonight!💖👯♀️👋."
While most of us saw this as a harmless video clip, some fans thought it implied that Maggie will one day take over Vanna's spot.
"Well deserved, I think dad [and] Vanna will be proud and happy," one person wrote on Instagram. "Passing of the guard," another penned. "Maggie is [a] future Letter turner???" a different follower inquired.
But for now, we know that Vanna isn't going anywhere. While Pat is leaving later this year, Vanna worked out a new contract to stay with the show alongside incoming host Ryan Seacrest. When Ryan found out, he voiced how excited he was to work with the TV legend.
"This is such great news," he told Sunday TODAY'S Willie Geist in October. "Vanna has been such a staple on that show and in our living rooms for so many years. I’ve been very excited to work with her, but now that it’s official I can say, 'Congratulations, Vanna.' I can’t wait."
