After weeks of elimination upsets, flawless salsas, sambas and waltzes, and even a few perfect scores, the three-hour season finale of Dancing With the Stars finally airs on December 5 with the five remaining couples battling it out to take home the Len Goodman Mirror Ball trophy. And while there's been lots of back and forth on who of the remaining celebs — Xochitl Gomez, Alyson Hannigan, Charity Lawson, Ariana Madix and Jason Mraz — and their pro partners should win season 32, that's not the biggest question currently on the fan's minds.
With former eliminated contestants returning to the show to rehearse for two all-cast numbers to be performed during the finale, there seemed to be one former contestant seemingly absent — and DWTS fans were quick to inquire about it.
"Where is Jamie Lynn Spears??????," someone wrote under the post. "No Jamie Lynn? ," another chimed in. "Jamie isn’t there lol," a different person commented. One fan jokingly wrote, "Jamie Lynn was a fever dream."
The Sweet Magnolias' actress was eliminated back in early October during week 2 and was missing in action even though her pro partner Alan Bersten was in the photo. But for fans worried if there is bad blood between the Zoey 101 alum and the rest of the competitors, worry not! Jamie took to Instagram to share that her delay to set was due to her still recovering from medical issues that forced her to quit the UK reality show I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here after 11 days.
Lucky for fans, she did share some Instagram stories Monday night on set reuniting with Alan and the rest of the eliminated cast, so for now it looks like she will at least be at the finale — no word yet on whether she'll be joining the all-cast performance though.
This season is the first where the finale will feature five, not four, couples, all of who will perform a redemption dance — a do-over of a previous dance they struggled with earlier in the season — and then a freestyle routine. All the season 32 couples will perform to "Young Hearts Run Free" by Candi Staton and "Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town" by Mariah Carey with some familiar guest faces, including co-hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough. There will also be a musical performance by finalist Jason Mraz, and last season's winners TikTok star Charlie D'Amelio and Mark Ballas will return with a brand-new routine set to "Give It To Me Baby" by Rick James.
Stream it LIVE tonight at 8 p.m. EST on Disney+ or on ABC.
