Happy birthday to Priyanka Chopra!
The Citadel star rung in her 41st birthday on Tuesday, and husband Nick Jonas made sure to celebrate her big day accordingly.
Jonas shared a new photo of the two enjoying a day at sea aboard a huge yacht. Chopra, who wears a black-and-white patterned maxi dress with white sunglasses, leans against Jonas, who looks casual in a baby-blue muscle T-shirt and retro shades.
“I love celebrating you. Happy birthday my love. ❤️🎉,” the singer captioned the post.
Chopra and Jonas married in 2018 and welcomed their first child, daughter Malti Marie, in January 2022.
In May, Chopra gushed about her husband during an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast.
Reflecting on her relationships prior to meeting Jonas, the actor said, “I needed to know why I kept repeating my mistakes and the repeating of the mistake was always feeling like: I need to be the caretaker. Always feeling like it’s okay to cancel my job or my work or my meeting or my priority to make sure that he’s propped up. It was so normalized in my brain for so long that I ended up giving the power in such a skewed way that I never stood up for myself. I literally would become like a doormat and I was like, ‘Okay, that’s fine.’ I just started feeling invisible in my relationships, and my husband makes me feel so seen and so heard.”
In contrast to her past partners, Chopra said, Jonas “thrives on seeing me shine.” She continued, “He’s the most excited about the show that I’m doing. He’s most excited when I’m on a carpet. You know, he’ll step aside and he’ll take pictures of me. … You want your man to be your champion.”
