It was over 2 years ago when Frito-Lay’s Cheetos entered a new category: Popcorn. The snack was introduced in Cheddar and Flamin’ Hot flavors after two of its Crunchy snack options. Now it has turned another one of its Cheetos Crunchy flavors into popcorn, so we hope you can handle the heat.
The new Cheetos Cheddar Jalapeño Popcorn is rolling out on shelves now. The Crunchy variety describes the flavor as “Bold, cheesy Cheetos meets spicy jalapeño in this dangerously cheesy snack. Cheetos Crunchy Cheddar Jalapeño Cheese Flavored Snacks are made with real cheese and just the right amount of heat.” We can only assume that the popcorn option is going to have the same profile.
The good news is that the new popcorn has already been spotted in stores, including at 7-Eleven, as seen from Instagram account @dadbodsnacks. The variety is also listed on various websites, including Instacart and Fred Meyer. Note to self: Hit up the snack aisle immediately.
