• Suni Lee and Sasha Farber danced the Paso Doble to Queen’s "We Will Rock You."
  • Immediately after the performance, Suni ran off stage.
  • Host Tyra Banks made commentary about why Suni left the stage, and fans were not happy about it.

Suni Lee proved just how far she’ll go to win Dancing With the Stars in her latest performance with her pro partner, Sasha Farber.

The 18-year-old Olympic gymnast gave it her all last Monday, all while feeling unwell. While she gave no indication of how she was feeling during her Paso Doble performance to Queen’s "We Will Rock You," she quickly ran off stage as soon as it ended. Suni’s exit stunned the audience and judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough alike — but it was what host Tyra Banks said soon after that shocked everyone even more.

Despite her best intentions, the 47-year-old host revealed more about Suni's situation than many thought was appropriate. “Suni is not feeling so good,” Tyra said to the audience, reassuring them that it was not COVID-19. But instead of stopping there, she repeatedly brought up Suni’s exit, making comments about how she was tending to her tummy and vomiting off stage.

Later on, when Suni had returned to the stage, Tyra brought up the gymnast's illness again: "Suni, I got to ask you. I know you've been struggling all day and, like, dude is like, you're throwing up. This is live TV and you ran off!”

Suni responded, "It's very scary because it's like, I've never done that before so I was kind of embarrassed and I knew that if I didn't come out here I'd be very disappointed in myself."

To put it bluntly, fans on Twitter weren’t impressed at all with Tyra's commentary. “Did Tyra really have to announce Suni had to run to the bathroom?? She’s so unprofessional,” one fan wrote. "Jeez, Tyra... We get it, Suni isn't feeling well. What happened to Girl Code?" another tweeted.“I don’t understand why Tyra thinks it’s OK to keep talking about Suni throwing up on National tv. Why are you airing her business?!,” another fan pondered on Twitter.

Most importantly, we hope Suni feels better really soon. On November 2, she thanked her fans for their well wishes. "Just wanted to thank everyone for all the kind words & support! definitely wasn’t the night i had hoped to have but it’s okay !," she tweeted. "We made it another week !! thank you for voting, let’s go!"
