If there's one thing Trader Joe's is known for—besides the out-of-this-world snacks, of course—it's an affordable plant collection. All year round, the cult-favorite grocery store offers a variety of fresh and potted plants that definitely beat your average grocery store's greens selection. And one new addition has our interest particularly piqued. According to Instagram user and Trader Joe's plant fanatic, @flowerchild_traderjoes, you can now find a variety of greens housed in tiny mugs, which the store is affectionately calling, "Twirling Teacups."
The tiny teacups come in three different springtime colors: white, green, and purple. You'll also be able to choose from a selection of different plants, all of which seem to be particularly low-maintenance. In another photo by Instagram user, @traderjoesnew, the care instructions on the Trader Joe's signage simply say "water when soil is dry." No green thumb, no problem. And the best part of these adorable finds? They're only $5.99!
Both Instagram users posted about the pint-sized plants on April 17th at two separate Trader Joe's locations in California (Millbrae and Sacremento), so it's not clear if they'll be available nationwide or whether you can only snag them on the West Coast. If you are interested in adding one of these babies to your collection, head to your local Trader Joe's and see if they have them in stock.
