Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez just called off their engagement and apparently things are pretty amicable! But perhaps you are not-at-all nosily wondering about the status of J.Lo's $1.8 million ring. According to "sources with direct knowledge" of the situation who spoke to TMZ, J.Lo still has the ring in her possession, and there has been no discussion between the exes as to which one of them is going to keep it.
The thing is, J.Lo's engagement ring is merely one of many fancy items these two have given one another over the course of their relationship, with TMZ's sources saying they've exchanged "massive amounts of jewelry" as well as watches. So it's possible they'll just be chill with each other keeping their respective gifts—including the engagement ring. TBD!
In case you somehow missed their bright-and-early morning statement yesterday, J.Lo and A-Rod told the Today show that they were splitting up amicably, saying:
“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.”
