The world of Harry Potter is reaaal, people! At least, the quaint village of Lavenham is. Airbnb is here to back up the facts. You can now stay at the childhood home of The Boy Who Lived.
For $142 a night, you (and whomever you'd like to share the experience with!) can spend the night at Godric's Hollow in the town of Lavenham, England. While fans obviously known the spot from the books, its real title is the "De Vere House." It used to be a bed and breakfast, but is re-opening now as a temporary rental for all the rabid HP fans out there.
If you book a stay, you and a guest will get a single bedroom with access to a shared bathroom. You'll have access to TV/Wifi amenities, a full English breakfast (cheers!), and a beautiful courtyard garden where we'll probably find you re-reading the series. You gotta pay homage.
When you're done soaking up the fact that you're staying at the home of the world's favorite wizard, you can go about wandering the beautiful village. In Lavenham, you can go vintage hunting at antique shops, explore museums, hit the tennis court, or grab a drink at a local tea room. We know, we know—we also wish Hogwarts were just steps away from this pad but, hey, this is close enough.
Reserve your stay today because it's a sure bet that spots will sell out quickly. Pack up your broomsticks, we'll see you in England!
