Princess Charlotte, if you haven't noticed, is already way cooler than, like, any adult any of us know. She stole the show at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding, stuck her tongue out at photographers, and recently, her mom Kate Middleton (ever heard of her?) shared another very cool detail about Charlotte: She apparently loves spicy food.
Kate and Prince William were meeting with the Prince Shah Karim Al Hussaini, Aga Khan IV in regards to their upcoming trip to Pakistan. When they began discussing food, which is the best part of any trip, Kate said that she makes curry for the family, according to Daily Mail's royal reporter Rebecca English. While she typically makes a milder version for her kids than she does for herself and William, Kate did mention that, um, yeah Charlotte can handle her spice.
"Charlotte is pretty good with heat," she said. NBD.
Reminder—Charlotte is 4 years old. Other people may have been downing spicy food as a toddler, but at that age, I thought my grandma's red sauce was the peak of spice. Now I put hot sauce on everything so expect Princess Charlotte to be downing chilis when she gets older. I'm calling it now.
This isn't the only insight we've gotten into Charlotte's apparently very sophisticated palate in recent months. Kate also shared in February that Charlotte loves olives (!!!) and that both she and Prince George help her make "cheesy pasta" and salad in the kitchen, according to People Magazine. Royals: They're just like us. Except apparently with better spice tolerances!
