While I have yet to fully process the information that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have split (my feelings need more than a week to recover, okay??), it looks like Miley might already have moved on from her husband of less than a year.
Not only was Miley seen kissing Brody Jenner's ex-wife Kaitlynn Carter on an Italian vacation last weekend, but now it looks like Miley is making sure that her family is down with her new love interest. TMZ reports that Miley, Kaitlynn, and Miley's mom Tish were all seen hanging out in West Hollywood together yesterday and drove to a "hot spot" in the same car—Tish driving while Kaitlynn took the back seat.
Of course, this could mean a ton of things—maybe Miley was introducing Kaitlynn to her mom, maybe Tish wanted to take the women out to get their minds off of the media frenzy that's happening around their romance, or maybe they were all just hungry and decided to get lunch together. Who knows! What it does seem to signal, though, is that Miley and Kaitlynn are still going strong.
That said, there have been other reports saying that Miley and Liam's families don't think that they should get a divorce just yet and that Miley and Liam might not be getting a divorce at all. So really, it's not clear what's going on with those two—all we can do for now is listen to "Slide Away" on repeat and try not to cry!
