• The Voice coach Blake Shelton posted a video to Twitter answering fans' most-asked question about him: What does he drink on the show?
  • It's a combination of ice, soda, and alcohol.

The secret is out, Voice fans! After 16 seasons, Blake Shelton has finally revealed what he drinks on the set of the NBC reality show.

Throughout the competition, the veteran coach is rarely shown without a large tumbler resting on the arm of his chair. All of the other coaches also have their own cups, but Blake's specifically has been a major source of intrigue over the years. We've only seen him part ways with his signature chalice once: during SandyRedd's explosive Blind Audition, when he literally offered it up as a sacrifice on stage (alongside JHud's shoes).

The rest of the time, Blake can be spotted stealing sips of his drink on air. So it's no surprise that since The Voice first premiered almost a decade ago, viewers at home have been wondering one thing: What's in the cup?!

Here, someone posed the question in 2013—pointing out there's "no way that's water."

Another fan mused about the infamous cup in 2016, begging the coach to give up its contents.

And just last season, one person said what we are all thinking: "I just want to know what is in Blake's cup."

The country-singing coach is well aware of the mystery around his drink of choice, but has never addressed the issue—until now.

"One of the number one questions I get asked every week is, 'What are you drinking on the show?'" he said in a video posted to Twitter. "I'm tired of the question, so I'm just gonna show you what I'm drinking."

There you have it, folks. When filming The Voice, Blake drinks a combination of Smithworks vodka, Sprite, and "something called ice."

If you're like most fans, you've probably waited for this moment for a long time. So, tell us...
