What can make a Halloween tradition like jack-o'-lanterns even spookier? Using them to recreate a scene from a classic horror movie — and that's just what brilliant Brooklyn-based artist Yuliya Tsukerman did. Earlier this month, she spent a few weeks carving the shower scene from the famed Hitchcock thriller Psycho into pumpkins and dubbed her creations "Psych-o-Lanterns." Pretty creative (and scary), right?

After creating her eerily realistic pumpkin art, she then used her "Canon something-or-other" to bring the creepy scene to life in this stop-motion film:

Great, now we'll have nightmares about psychos and pumpkins.
