Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1/2 tsp. McCormick Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1 package mini marshmallows (10 oz.)
- 9 drops McCormick Assorted Food Colors
- 5 cups crisped rice cereal, divided
- nonstick cooking spray
- popsicle sticks
- Candy eyes, for decorating
- Jelly beans, for decorating
- 1/4 vanilla icing, for decorating
Directions
- Step 1Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large saucepan over medium-low heat, melt butter. Stir in McCormick Pure Vanilla Extract and marshmallows and stir until combined, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat and divide into three bowls.
- Step 2Dye each marshmallow mixture with McCormick Assorted Food Colors, then add 1 2/3 cup crisped rice cereal to each bowl. Fold cereal mixture into marshmallow mixture until combined, then set aside to let cool slightly.
- Step 3Lightly spray your hands with cooking spray. (This helps the mixture from sticking!). Using about ½ cup cereal mixture, form into bunny shape. Stick popsicle stick into bottom and set on prepared baking sheet. Repeat until all cereal mixture has been used.
- Step 4To decorate: Add two candy eyes and a jelly bean nose. Transfer icing to a piping bag or a resealable plastic bag and snip a very small hole. Using the icing, fill in ears and add a mouth and whiskers. Refrigerate 10 minutes before serving.
