It's wild, I know, but Easter is fast approaching once again (on April 20, 2025, in fact). What does this mean? Well, you're going to need plenty of treats that everybody (and every-bunny) will love. We're not just talking candy, either (although we're filling our baskets with as much Easter candy as we can grab this year). Why stop at just offering up Peeps, Reese's Eggs, or Cadbury Eggs? Which is why we had to make even more holiday-perfect cakes, candies, and cupcakes to round out your Easter brunch, lunch or dinner table. And with recipes like our jelly bean-decorated bunny cake, you can have your candy (and cake) and eat it too!

There couldn't be anything more Easter-y than one of our favorite candies, Robin's Eggs. A crisp pastel outer shell enclosing a creamy center, these bite-sized candies are just begging to be turned into a host of different Easter treats. We've put it in Robin's Egg ice cream, Robin's Egg brownies, and even Robin's Egg cheesecake. You could say we're a little obsessed, and you'd be right.

Want even more ideas for what to do with all that Easter candy? If you're lucky to have any, that is. We love using leftover Peeps for Peeps s'mores brownies, Peeps Rice Krispies, and Peeps skillet s'mores. Cadbury Eggs and jelly beans are also perfect for decorating any post-Easter cakes and brownies (like our carrot patch brownies and cheesecake) too!

If you're looking for treats of the grown-up variety, you can even add a variety of Easter candies to your cocktails, because of course you can. Adding Peeps to vodka for a creamy infused vodka that's reminiscent of marshmallow vodka. We also love infusing vodka with Reese's Pieces for our Drunken Peanut Butter Cup cocktail, and you know we had to create a recipe for a Cadbury Creme Egg martini too.

These bird's nest cookies are so simple to make and way too fun to eat. Crunchy chow mein noodles are folded into melted chocolate and peanut butter, then formed into little nests with chocolate eggs on top… they're possibly the funniest thing you’ll ever make. Paska Bread

Ukrainian paska stems from a line of bread that's similar to brioche. It’s an enriched yeast bread made with butter, eggs and egg yolks, milk, and sugar. It’s heavy and delightful, the exact thing you want to wake up to in the morning and smear butter all over. It might be tall or short and stout with braids or other symbolic ornaments molded on top. People bring their paska to Easter mass for a blessing before anyone can try to devour them.

Lemon-Blueberry Blondies

Blondies are often overlooked in lieu of brownies, but when it comes to adding springy flavors like lemon and blueberry, only one bar reigns supreme. Blondies are all about two things—brown sugar and vanilla—which pair perfectly with lighter, more delicate fruit flavors. The lemon and blueberry here help mellow out the overt sweetness of the blondies, making these bars reminiscent of blueberry muffins or lemon pound cake.

Resurrection rolls, also known as “empty tomb rolls,” are such a fun Easter treat. In them, crescent dough is wrapped around a marshmallow—as it bakes, the marshmallow melts and disappears, leaving a hollow inside full of a buttery, sugar syrup that makes these a pure delight. It’s a mystery and miracle all in one.

Where your average cheesecake can be a real labor of love worthy of special occasions only, cheesecake bars are relatively straightforward to make. Take this strawberry version—to make them, we topped a simple graham cracker crust with a creamy cheesecake layer, a sweet pink fruit layer, and then crumbled a cinnamon-spiced streusel on top. The result is a cute, springy dessert that’s remarkable enough to share for holidays and potlucks, but also easy enough to make anytime you’re craving cheesecake.
