Pumpkin pie is a must-have during the holidayss. When it's done just right, it's smooth, creamy, and perfectly spiced. This take on pumpkin pie checks all of those boxes—and more.
My trick is adding a thick drizzle of dulce de leche that gets swirled into the pumpkin filling. It adds a wonderful sweet surprise to the pie. If you don't have dulce de leche, any thick caramel sauce will totally work. (Pro tip: Skip any caramel sauce that's too thin; you won't be able to see the gorgeous swirls of it.)
This pie also comes together super quickly and can be refrigerated for a day or two before serving, so you can have it ready to go before holiday festivities.
