What's more frustrating than spending money on a fad diet and ending up disappointed? Nothing, apparently, to the Birmingham, AL man who robbed a Subway restaurant in the name of fairness. According to Eater, the man was arrested for robbing "at least" one Subway location (though he's suspected of robbing three others), after which he supposedly confessed to the crime. Area police chief Chuck Hagler told Reuters that the man, "… had been on the 'Subway Diet' and it had not worked for him and he felt like he wanted his money back." He's currently being held on $250,000 bond, which would buy him a ton of footlongs.

The Subway Diet gained notoriety when weight loss spokesperson Jared Fogle lost a huge amount of weight eating just Subway sandwiches, and subsequently starred in a number of commercials for the eatery.
