Sure, we all know the expression, "It's so hot outside you could fry an egg on the sidewalk!" But thanks to record-breaking temperatures in Perth, Australia — it reached 44 degrees Celsius on Monday, which is roughly 111 degrees Fahrenheit — one man brought the phrase to life.

He didn't cook his eggs directly on the sidewalk because he actually ate them afterwards. So, instead, he fries them sunny-side up in a cast-iron skillet that rests on the pavement. Check out the crazy video below.
