By day Brek Nebel is an aircraft service technician, but at home with his son he's a pancake-maker extraordinaire. We've seen some pretty impressive pancake art in the past; however, thanks to food coloring and an uncanny attention to detail, Nebel takes the (pan)cake for the absolute best pancake art to date. Apparently, he began making designs with pancakes about a year ago and now it's become a weekly tradition for him and his sun Koen. "It took a lot of trial and error and experimentation to get the style I've been using for the last 4 months. It started out using molds and cookie cutters and has slowly evolved with food coloring and finding the right tools," he told the
Huffington Post. Koen typically comes up with each pancake idea and then it's up to Dad to execute his vision. While each masterpiece typically takes around 45 minutes to create, we can definitely see why a pancake breakfast made by superdad Brek Nebel is worth the wait.
Check out some of Nebel's life-like creations below and keep up with his Instagram to find out what the adorable pancake duo dreams up next!
