At the push of a button in the new app, Saucey, you can refresh your party's beer supply or seriously upgrade your Seamless mu shu with a bottle of wine. According to Saucey's chief executive, Chris Vaughn, your beer, wine, or spirits order "gets routed to the nearest liquor store," but is hand delivered by a Saucey driver who is "background checked, trained, friendly."
If you're making a night of it and shouldn't be running out for more booze, it's a service to look into. They even do cigars and tobacco, and they'll bring you cups. Everything you might forget making a run halfway through your party, they've considered.
They're not without competition, though. Drizly is stocking people's spirits in Chicago, Boston, New York (including the Hamptons and Brooklyn), and Los Angeles and Minibar and Booze Carriage are hard at work in New York City.
