While it probably seems like the world doesn't need another Starbucks, one world does: Disney World. Starbucks has just announced the opening of their stylish, company-owned Starbucks location at Walt Disney World Orlando. The 4,000 square foot state-of-the-art outpost is also a LEED site, the coffee giant's 500th store to have the certification.

The sustainable design at the new Walt Disney World Resort Starbucks features "100 percent energy-efficient LED lighting; reclaimed oak, maple and other materials used throughout the store; community tables made from salvaged trees; a green roof consisting of hundreds of lemon grass plants," stated the press release. Amazingly, Starbucks coffee played a part in the healthy greenery that adorns the space. "We had all the grass grown in a nursery and we fed it with compost from our coffee grounds from a nearby Starbucks store. This gesture is one of the many ways we're able to tell our story," said David Daniels, senior designer on the project.
