Next time you're at Applebee's and don't feel like
socializing in person with your fellow diners you can use the restaurant's exclusive
social networking app called WhatsApplebee's. That's right, according to Eater,
Applebee's has its own interactive chatting app, which only works when customers
are at one of the restaurant locations.
Once logged in, diners can anonymously chat with fellow patrons. An example
of what Applebee's thinks its customers would say to one another reads, "Man, I
just can't get enough of those 2 for $20 entrees!" For now the app is only
available for iPhone users and can be downloaded for free via iTunes.
