McDonald's

The days when a single George Washington could purchase anything from a list of fast-food items have come to an end. According to AdAge McDonald's is making the switch from its dollar menu to a Dollar Menu & More that will feature items ranging from $1 to $5. The chain began testing the concept earlier this year, but it has just been confirmed by a Mickey D's spokesperson that "all restaurants are selling the Dollar Menu & More on Nov. 4." The Dollar Menu & More list will include sandwiches that cost $1 to $2 and items like a 20-piece chicken McNugget box that costs $5. While the new concept is still supposed to be a condensed list of value offerings, it seems as though many of the items could just live on the regular menu. Wendy's also recently changed its 99 Cent Menu to a new Right Price Right Size Menu, which offers items ranging from $1 to $2.

Do you think dollar menus are a thing of the past?
