People like to buy fresh produce from their local farmers' market, so why not marijuana? According to the New York Daily News, local marijuana growers got together in Los Angeles to offer their "products" to the masses.
Thousands of shoppers showed up to the event, which was located at a warehouse in downtown LA. To enter, customers had to show ID and a medical marijuana card.
Vendors offered their marijuana for up to 70% off and some also sold edibles, oils, and other weed-infused products. The market's organizers plan to be open for business every week, as long as the authorities don't find a way to shut it down.
