If you remember the sheer joy of seeing Monster Cereals on supermarket shelves around Halloween time — or you waited for your kids to go to school before devouring half the box — then you'll be very happy with General Mills this year. The company is bringing back all five of the classics. According to a press release, for the first time ever you'll be able to purchase Count Chocular, Franken Berry, Boo Berry, Frute Brute, and Yummy Mummy all at the same time!
Frute Brute hasn't been on the market since 1988 and Yummy Mummy has been absent from cereal bowls everywhere since 1993. The others have returned every Halloween, but this year's cereal jackpot is a huge win for nostalgic breakfast buffs.
The Monsters clan will be available starting in late August and September and will sell while supplies last. In case you're really looking to take a trip down memory lane, Target has made an exclusive deal with General Mills to sell the cereals in retro packaging.
