Alex Burgos told local Denver 9News that when his wife was changing their son, Thiago, an employee tossed a rag at her and spoke to her using a "demeaning" tone. Mr. Burgos said that the employee said to "make sure to wipe the seat when you're done." And that the barista and other staff members began snickering behind the couple's back. That did not go over well with Mr. Burgos, who decided to pour his Starbucks coffee on the floor, at which point the police were called to the scene for a "disturbance."

No one was arrested, but the Burgos did wind up on 9News and their story was detailed on the channel's Facebook page, generating more than 900 comments. 9News reports that a company spokesperson responded by saying that Starbucks believes all customers should be treated with "dignity and respect."

Do you think there should be a law preventing public potty training or changing of diapers in restaurants across the country? Have you ever potty trained your child in a public place?
