This isn't the first time McDonald's has dyed its burger buns, and it won't be the last, but it's always slightly unnerving. According to
Kotaku, McDonald's Japan just launched a special Cherry Blossom Burger in honor of the country's Spring cherry blossom blooms. The burger typically makes a yearly comeback during the Spring and features a teriyaki patty with an egg on top and pink mayo Japanese radish spread. But this year, McDonald's added an extra twist — burger buns with a light pink hue. No word yet on whether or not the buns are also flavored, but we're guessing it's just good old-fashioned food coloring
