McDonald's is known for giving children toys in Happy Meals, but the fast-food giant is changing things up. Starting November 1, which is National Family Literacy Day, the chain will give kids a book with each Happy Meal, and not just any book either. All four books available aim to teach children about nutrition. The book titles include, "The Goat Who Are Everything," "Deana's Big Dreams," "Ant, Can't," and "Doddi the Dodo Goes to Orlando." Each tells a positive tale about healthy eating in a slightly different way. For example, Deana, a tiny dinosaur, grows tall by eating right. Another features a goat who has a really big appetite and feels better when he eats right. The promotion will last for two weeks (through November 14) and McDonald's is printing more than 20 million books for the occasion. McDonald's is also giving away 100,000 Happy Meal books to children who would not otherwise have access through the nonprofit Reading is Fundamental.
