The drive-thru used to be the most convenient way to get your fast-food fix. But now Burger King is making that task even easier for some customers — no car required.
Following test periods of delivery service in Washington, D.C., Houston, and Miami, Burger King has decided to bring its BK Delivery service to the Big Apple. New York residents can put in their orders (minimum $10) between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. Although some menu items — such as fountain drinks, shakes, and soft-serve desserts — aren't available through the service, there's still a variety of foods and sips to order.
The release of delivery service in heavily populated cities in 2012 hints at a plan to expand the delivery service throughout the United States, although Burger King has not announced further BK Delivery releases. Currently no fast-food chain has nationwide delivery service.
If you live in one of the areas catered by the delivery service, you can place your order at bkdelivers.com.
What do you think of Burger King's delivery option? Would you like to have fast-food delivery in your town?
