It happens every Christmas. Crafty sugar fiends attempt to build the perfect gingerbread house. Some succeed. While others, unfortunately, experience epic failures. We sympathize: It's not that easy to work with icing that hardens too quickly while kids eat your pretzel windows as you try to reposition gumdrops that just don't want to stick. After last year's popular Gingerbread House Disasters post, we decided it was time for part deux. Luckily, these are just cookie constructions — otherwise we'd recommend buying insurance. And remember, no matter how ugly or how pretty, they all taste the same at the end of the day.
