In Boston yesterday, the hottest ticket in town had nothing to do with a concert or a sporting event — it was for a reality TV series premiere.

At noon on Wednesday, January 8, 100 tickets went on sale for a premiere event featuring "Wahlburgers," an A&E reality TV series that will chronicle the happenings at the burger joint owned by brothers Mark Wahlberg (the famous actor), Donnie Wahlberg (from New Kids On the Block), and Paul Wahlberg. Tickets were sold out within an hour.

The event will be held at Hingham Harbor on January 22, when the show premieres at 10:30pm on A&E, and all proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to the Dorchester Youth Collaborative. Paul Wahlberg told boston.com that the money would help low-income urban youth.

As Paul told boston.com, the premiere event is all about giving back: "It seemed like the right thing to do for Wahlburgers, and for people affiliated with the restaurant stuff. It's more about them than it is for me. It's showing our gratitude to them. And it's for a very good cause."

Will you watch "Wahlburgers"?
