Here's What The Cast of "Hocus Pocus" Looks Like Now

The role of Mary was originally offered to Rosie O' Donnell, but after she turned it down, our favorite Sister Act star snatched it up. The comedian has been bopping around the TV circuit, making guest appearances on Inside Amy Schumer and playing Disney villains. As you do.

After playing the flighty Sanderson sis, SJP went on to star in such films as Failure to Launch and Did You Hear About the Morgans?, as well as the little-known TV show Sex and the City, in which she played a plucky newspaper columnist.

After finding fame as John Ross Ewing III in Dallas and stealing all of the teen girl hearts in the TV classic Eerie, Indiana, he joined the cast of Hocus Pocus and then basically disappeared. Did Winnie put a spell on him? Tough to say. Now, he's a hairdresser.

After playing Max's sassy kid sister, Thora went on to be Lester Burnham's daughter in American Beauty. The 33-year-old actress sadly hasn't had much success since, but her Pops sure has. Fun fact: Her dad is Jack Birch, a porn star who appeared in Deep Throat. How do you like them (candy) apples?

After making us all straight-up jels playing Max's love interest, Shaw went on to appear in Eyes Wide Shut, Wes Craven's The Hills Have Eyes, and alongside Josh Hartnett (what became of him, btw?) in 40 Days and 40 Nights. Most recently she was hanging with Katie Holmes on the set of Ray Donovan.

Though he couldn't save his beloved sister (RIP Emily) and was destined to live out most of his life as a kitty cat, Sean went on to star in JAG and later NCIS, so, you know, he's still fighting crime, but witches are no longer the enemy.

Doug has the distinct honor of being one of the few elements of Hocus Pocus that are actually terrifying. He's also appeared in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Hellboy, and Pan's Labyrinth post-Pocus. In 2014, he made appearances in MTV's Teen Wolf and FX's The Strain. Do you see the spooky pattern?

Jay, or the totally tubular bleached-blond bully who tormented Max by calling him "Hollywood" (ouch!), made his cinematic debut in Hocus Pocus and has since gone on to play a "meth head" twice and has had lots of bit roles in soaps and Shameless. He's also quite active on Instagram. Double-tap!
